Steve Nash
Professional basketball player who played point guard for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Steve Nash is widely considered the greatest Canadian basketball player of all time. He is a two-time National Basketball Association (NBA) Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the first Canadian to win the award. Nash became a free agent in the summer of 2004. While he had planned to return to the Mavericks, he instead accepted a longer-term six-year contract with the Suns. Nash’s career soared to new heights in Phoenix.

Daniel Schayes
An American former professional basketball player who played for Syracuse University and played 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), from 1981 until 1999. At 6' 11" and 235 pounds, he played at center.

After spending two seasons with the Jazz, he played for several different teams, notably with the Denver Nuggets, in which he spent his best years.

Lindsey VanZandt
An American mixed martial artist, currently fighting in the atomweight division of Invicta FC. VanZandt made her professional debut against Katie Saull at KOTC - Regulator. She won the fight by a second-round technical knockout. Her 3-0 record earned VanZandt the notice of Invicta FC. VanZandt took part in the Invicta FC Phoenix Tournament, which was held to determine the next atomweight title challenger. She earned her place in the finals with decision wins against Katie Perez and Linda Mihalec.

Sir Roger Moore
English actor best known for playing secret agent James Bond. He was the third actor to portray the fictional British secret agent in the Eon Productions film series, playing the character in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985. Moore's seven appearances as Bond, from Live and Let Die to A View to a Kill, are the most of any actor in the Eon-produced entries.


Gary Hall Jr.
American swimmer who competed in the 1996, 2000, and 2004 Olympics and won ten Olympic medals (5 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze). In his first Olympics at the age of 21 in Atlanta, Hall had only 6 years of swimming experience yet he already had a well-known rivalry with Russia's Alexander Popov.

Krystofer Kolanos
Canadian former professional ice hockey center. He played with the Phoenix Coyotes, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, and Calgary Flames in his National Hockey League (NHL) career.

Franco Columbu
Italian-American bodybuilder, power-lifter, actor, author, producer, and a licensed chiropractor.
Originally a boxer, Columbu won the Mr. Olympia in 1976 and 1981, and competed in the inaugural edition of the World's Strongest Man in 1977, where he placed fifth. He also had an acting career and authored numerous books on bodybuilding and nutrition.

Columbu was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2001, and received the Arnold Classic Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.


George Mikan
American professional basketball player for the Chicago American Gears of the National Basketball League (NBL) and the Minneapolis Lakers, the Basketball Association of America (BAA) and the NBA. Invariably playing with thick, round spectacles, the 6 ft 10 in, 245 lb Mikan was one of the pioneers of professional basketball. Through his size and play he redefined it as a game dominated in his day by "big men". His prolific rebounding, shot blocking, and talent to shoot over smaller defenders with his ambidextrous hook shot — the result of the Mikan Drill — created with Ray Meyer, his coach, all helped change the game.

Ron Mahay
American former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Boston Red Sox, Oakland Athletics, Florida Marlins, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals, and Minnesota Twins.  After retiring from active play in January 2013, he was named a scout by the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2014 season. He is currently the pitching coach for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers of the MLB Draft League.

Linda Gray
American film, stage and television actress, director, producer and former model, best known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing, the long-suffering wife of Larry Hagman's character J.R. Ewing on the CBS television drama series Dallas (1978–1989, 1991, 2012–2014), for which she was nominated for the 1981 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. The role also earned her two Golden Globe Awards.
